What error number is outlook giving you back?
What is courier writing in the log files? /var/log/mail.info ? /var/
log/daemon?
How are you doing authentication? with SASL?
Are all your users in /etc/passwd or are you using radius?
What do your user names look like - I saw you wrote something like
mail.username - maybe outlook has a problem with usernames with
'dots' in them...
