hmm, still not good, but quite weird:
/darcs/pkg-haskell $ LANG=C ls -l haskell-charsetdetect-ae
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/_darcs: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/watch: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/copyright: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/control: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/source: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/changelog: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/compat: Permission denied
ls: cannot access haskell-charsetdetect-ae/rules: Permission denied

Maybe "chmod g+x haskell-charsetdetect-ae" helps? If not then it might
be related to ACLs.

I moved them further into the old/ directory, so that they do not show
up in, for example,
http://pkg-haskell.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/pet.cgi
