merged your repo to my local, and built the packages as well.
(Note, that the textinfo is required. :))

For the build, I've exported the original source with:
gbp export-orig --tarball-dir=../ --verbose --force-create --upstream-tree=erossi/master

Then I re-built all packages with pbuilder, everything was fine.

After that I installed all *.deb packages, and tried:

* examples of all bindings
* rigctl
* I have an ugly C code which tests hamlib functions, I compiled
  and linked it

Everything worked as well.

Only one note from me: the Python3 example script misses from the
python3-libhamlib2 package.

This patch fixes it:
