Just as I am, but I tried to change my window manager using gconf-editor
when I first installed GNOME2 and it was using sawfish...

It is just confusing the way it is now... I guess many users will try
using that gconf key... if it is not going to be used it would be
good removing it and also gnome-wm 

I just hope GNOME2 will work much better out of the box than Woody's 
GNOME1.4 does
