consolekit was never an ongoing pain for the end users, it was ongoing pain
for the developers and maintainers. Shunting the pain from the maintainers
to the users is always a bug. Not always a fixable bug, but nevertheless
not something we should be sanguine about.

Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS
Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
