First of all, at that time I had no contacts with the local admin, only
Wichert had them.

Second, very few people have ident check in their SMTP configuration, so
it's not like your configuration is very common.

Anyway, I sent a mail to the local admin to know if we could loosen the
firewalling rules concerning ICMP. Feel free to ask for news in a few
days.
