On a tangential note, we usually release faster than Microsoft, and I don't
see that harming their market share. :)

However, that doesn't mean we should dismiss all of the non-free packages
from our archive with a blanket statement. If someone spent a few man-hours
examining the non-free section, and showing what exactly is there really, it
would be _much_ easier for everyone to conclude that non-free can be
removed. Without that, all we have to rely on is our personal experiences
and gut feelings. Those two usually aren't ingredients for a consensus of
any kind.
