There are some things people brand new to Debian may not be able to
help with. It does not therefore follow that nobody wants
non-developer assistance. It simply means that there are some things
non-developers and people new to Debian are fine at, and some things
they need more experience to understand.

There is a standard list of things that non-developers are eagerly
asked to help with. None of them includes "please re-engineer all our
processes", but there are plenty of things on that list.
