Well that is what I have done now, compiled it myself.

I'm thinking of a easy installation of diskless clients and for that
purpose grub is great! :)

Maybe a grub-netboot should be good. grub-bug is the maintainer, what
does that mean? Is it the upstream maintainers or is it not maintained
by anyone?
