No, netbase isn't being split up. [0]

Even if it were, ipchains and ipfwadm almost certainly wouldn't be moving
out. Portmap, perhaps -- it could, conceivably, introduce security holes
just by running. ipfwadm and ipchains, though?

    been "create a brand new package that automates virtual service setup,
    and alias configuration", and "make network startup more centralised,
    and more amenable to upgrades".
