Re: Hello, I want to participate.

Hello
I ran into so many problems with aleph one packaging that I'm not sure I'll even start with warsow. To be honest, debian packaging system is a crazy nightmare for someone who is unfamilliar with it (compared to archlinux's PKGBUILD's).

Anyway it doesn't discourage me, but I'd prefer to do something different, so my last question is: are there some debian projects where I could help as C/C++ or Python coder, and where help is highly needed?

Thanks for all Your responses.

IIRC I or my sponsor (at the time) came across some licensing issues
with warsow (hence it sort of just got added to the end of a long todo
list and promptly forgotten...), but I don't recall the details
anymore. I don't intend to work on warsow's packaging in the
foreseeable future, so you're more than welcome to take over the
package if you want.

Regards,
Vincent
