hdb0 ??
hdb is the entire disk, then you have hdb1 .. hdb4 which are primary
partitions, hdb5 .. which are extended partitions.  Unless of course
you're not using "DOS" partitioning; in which case I still doubt you
have hdb0 (under linux even e.g. Sun s0 .. s7 slices are called sda1 ..
sda8 (assuming first SCSI disk).
