OK David, I just added that line to /etc/modules meanwhile here are the rest
of the contents.

Back again live: Don't know what firewire is? Anyway, will examin your
suggestions-and-also reboot. By the way, this is my desktop machine. The newer
laptop arrived, we will nuke windows11 pro, but that won't be til next
Saturday. My old laptop won't start.
