Well cf. the "remote participation" thread in -discuss. I agree that we
don't need somebody to say "the next talk is about foo by bar", but
having somebody to (i) relay the mic for Q&A, (ii) relay questions from
IRC, (iii) announce what will be up next (if anything special comes up
like a break or food), (iv) whatever I missed would be good.
