Yes, thanks by bringing this up. This is exactly how I see the things.

I do understand that is usually much simpler to solve problems in
a focused way instead of a generic way but in this specific case
I do believe that the generic way is the way to go.

I always though that accessibility needs to be part of the venue
selection phase. This has the potential to make things much simple
and easier for all involved parts.

It is rather boring for me to always need to get in touch with
debconf-team to sort those things out. I just want to be as
any other Debian contributor that just buy the Airplane ticket,
inform any specific need (like food, a separated room, or
a car to catch at the airport) and go.

This is how an Universal Project should handle this kind
of situation.
