They are! However, the tendency among technical people appears to be
turning to finding technical solutions without considering first the
easier, and more appropriate social solution. 

If a builder of walls tried to solve every social problem they
encountered by first considering if building a wall would solve it, then
we'd all be living in very small spaces.
