The way minorities need to work to have their viewpoints preserved is to
fully join the project and be able to vote and speak with a fully empowered
voice. Placing themselves in a lesser state as DM is not the way to do
this. That's not to say anything against the DM idea except that it should
definitely not be a mechanism to preserve minority viewpoints.
