Sort of. The hardware populates /proc/bus/pci, but
/usr/share/misc/pci.ids populates the output of lspci. The versions of
pciutils is the same but the contents of pci.ids is several years
different (Wheezy ain't Jessies) pci.ids is separate from lspci/pciutils.

I suspect the OP and I 'could' update to the latest ids (perhaps even a
later version than Jessie) by running /usr/bin/update-pciids, otherwise
there are large differences.

grep Version: /usr/share/misc/pci.ids | cut -d " " -f2
2012.11.19

ls -l /usr/share/misc/pci.ids
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 778816 Nov 20 2012 /usr/share/misc/pci.ids

grep -cv "^#" /usr/share/misc/pci.ids #crude count of entries
21440

Kind regards
