Thanks for providing the historical background.. never knew Microsoft
had invented the all-in-one mailer that does one thing right.. make it
difficult to switch.

Actually, I think that was a Nutscrape "innovation", needed because of Windows' limited/non-existent multitasking abilities at the time.
