That and the maddening idea in all of the Mozilla mailers and Kamil as
well that I have to display a message to delete it drove me largely
away from them. My Mutt UI is set up so I can see the previous five or
so messages above the one I'm reading. When I hit q the entire frame
is the mailbox I'm browsing. Being able to wipe out entire threads
with Ctl-D is the only way to keep one's sanity with busy mailing lists
such as this one and Mythtv users.
