when in doubt wipe it out
If you buy a computer and you have any doubt at all in your mind as to the
legality of the copy of windows that is already on the machine's hard
drive, erase entire hard drive and install Debian on machine. Had a
Russian Principal done this he wouldn't be being prosecuted for pirating
Microsoft's property today. Now if you absolutely must have Windows buy
it from Microsoft. After that, install a drive sled in your machine and
install windows on a separate hard drive in its own sled. This way when
you want to use Linux windows won't mess with it. Maybe that Russian
school district ought to finish up by installing debian and save their
money for better projects than Microsoft Windows too, but then again if
they do that they''ll miss out on the blue screen of death and all those
neat Microsoft error messages.
