It's easier to install on Debian. That's all.

So use it. However, as it has been explained the Debian "Iceweasel" is not
a fork, just the FireFox source, patched and with graphics and some text
swapped. As Mozilla upgrades their browser, those changes would be in
Iceweasel as well.
