#2 should probably start, "By distribution I mean one of Debian stable, Debian
testing, Debian unstable distributions, not Knoppix, Stormix, etc."
#6 should probably s/frowned upon/prohibited.
#9 should probably include an introduction of Reply-to-List and a list of
modern MUAs that (properly) support such basic functionality as replying
properly.
#11 is incorrect. Anything unrelated to Debian *users* is off-topic (the
archives and the list webpage can attest to this).
The #1 at the end of the page about the list for newbies should be
self-evident (if not answered by a list archive but by common sense...who
wants to read a list of almost nothing but can't-be-bothered-to-google
questions?). #2 in that same section is redundant with #9 above.
