SOLVED (was Re: Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0))

The culprit has emerged!


I had this:

	#
	# ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support
	#
	CONFIG_IDE=m


...instead of this:

	#
	# ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support
	#
	CONFIG_IDE=y
