I disagree with this statement. If you allow iTunes to keep your collection
sorted (highly recommended), the files are sorted very logically using folders.
The structure is Music Root -> Artist -> Album -> Song. This structure could be
easily parsed by any number of scripts or programs.

I find that iTunes does a better job keeping my music sorted than I ever could
anyways, and if you get used to the functionality the interface provides it's
hard to see the logic in keeping everything organized manually.
