First, install the kernel:
apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.18-1-386
Next, configure lilo. Edit the "Linux" section in /etc/lilo.conf, and
add a line
initrd=/initrd.img
And remove the comment character before
#prompt
to make sure lilo will ask you which kernel to boot.
Run lilo:
/sbin/lilo
Reboot, and select "Linux". Linux.old will boot the old kernel.
