Point taken, I've never tried anything exotic like voice recognition
abd children's programs aren't on my radar. :-)

This is a very real probability and requires planning for transitioning
the data. Fortunately, once the transition is made the data is rarely
locked up in such a way as to be irretrievable.
This is where the live CDs are such a great thing--one can try all
sorts of software for purpose and compatibility without disturbing the
existing system. Truly good work.
