too true. most of europe has its head in the wrong location as far as
internet access is concerned. even where the telcos are privatised,
consumer-friendly service is non-existent. particularly in germany,
telekom's monopolistic gouging makes it highly unlikely that a whole lot
of people would be online for a 24 hour stretch.

then again, karsten's statement is not incorrect, given that most
dynamic ips are located where he is.
