Ok i did some more checks. The .vnc dir IS EXISTING in that $HOME dir. The
errormessage of vncserver is compleetly follish. I started Xvnc by myself and
got the following errormessage:
<snip>
08/05/03 19:11:38 Xvnc version 3.3.3r2+tight1.2.2
08/05/03 19:11:38 Copyright (C) AT&T Laboratories Cambridge.
08/05/03 19:11:38 All Rights Reserved.
08/05/03 19:11:38 See http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc for information on
VNC
08/05/03 19:11:38 Desktop name 'x11' (:0)
08/05/03 19:11:38 Protocol version supported 3.3
08/05/03 19:11:38 Listening for VNC connections on TCP port 5900

Fatal server error:
Couldn't add screen
</snip>
This says to me that vncserver just can't interpret the errors from Xvnc :)).
However, this does not help me eather :)). I also don't know how to handle
this error, since VNC doesn't know screens... What screens are meant here?
Xfree86 screens??

cheers,
Raffaele
