Hi

I rather lost touch with who asked the original question but for what
it's worth we've installed a number of DSL networks (Home/Small Office)
using the Vigor2600 ADSL Modem from Draytek - works a treat. It is
configured via a web interface and has integral firewall, VPN etc.

Our network uses one of these with a Netgear FS108 (8port) switch and
we're hanging the following off it:

2 HP Netservers - Debian 3.0
1 Dual Processor G4 OSX and Woody
1 Mac 8100/80 Nubus) - Mac OS8.6 and Woody
1 4400 Mac - OS8.6
1 Dell PC - Windows 98SE and Woody
1 Dell PC - Windows 98
1 Built PC 266Mhz - running windows 98

My only knowledge of the speetouch has been with windows NT setup where
the connection kept going down and the fault was never properly
identified - possibly at the exchange (BT)
