Without wishing to get into this debate, I'll just point out that you
can run KDE 3.1 with woody - my wife is doing just that.
Add http://download.us.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/Debian/ to your
sources.list.
I've been running unstable for 6-7 months now. I would probably have
dropped back to testing when I got my new machine just before Xmas,
but needed to unstable XFree for my video card and thought WTH?
Apart from one small libc++ glitch, I've had no real problems and run
an upgrade almost daily. Oh yes, there was a samba problem, but bny
the time I realised it was there a fixed version was available. MS
systems should be so "unstable".
