Does this mean that, once gnome2 gets into testing, we're all screwed?

I keep hearing about how much less configurable gnome2 is relative to
gnome1.4. Does this affect sawfish at all? I've done very little
configuring on gnome itself, but I've gone to much trouble in getting
sawfish to act the way I want it to and would rather it remained in a
"working" state.

The only real problem I have with gnome1.4 is that it appears to want to
create a new pager for every "workspace" I create with sawfish, so I've
ended up having one workspace and adding an extra row/column to it.
