Is it possible for the shell script /etc/pcmcia/network to read from standard input at boot? I tried inserting a "read" statement in the function start_fn in /etc/pcmcia/netowrk.opts thinking I could use the input to direct /sbin/ifup to the interfaces file appropriate to my location. But it didn't work. This must be really basic, sorry. Mark
