I've been half-following this thread for the past two days, yet I've never seen this mentioned so I figured I'd throw it out there. You said you had a Genius NetMouse right? There's a "netmouse" option available in gpm that you might want to take a look at. I'm not sure if X has an equivalent setting for it or not, but if it doesn't you can always try having gpm repeat ImPS/2 and using ImPS/2 in X. Just a thought. -Alex
