ok, I finished that terrible part of unglade'ing the code, now I'm messing
around with the menu's clist.... I think I'm gonna do the following:

left menu tree has only user's menu items, and that little "available applications"
will be moved to the right and contain all the menu files contained in
/usr/lib/menu/ any idea?

I'll send something for you to test when I learn more about that code and
fix more things (what a bad written code, btw!... it's confusing!)
