Re: 2.2r4 CD not recognising Ultra100 TX2 controller



  There should not be a problem on the Debian side. I've used UltraDMA
boot floppies to do two Debian installations on these controllers. I did
have some trouble with them not wanting to be a boot device on the older
machine. 'append="ide=reverse"' seems to work just fine, though.
I haven't seen the beginning of this discussion, so I may be ot of
place. I did not have to do anything funny in either one of the two
cases and am pretty happy with the hardware.
