So am I, kinda.  Just finished setting up another Potato system that
has on old Mach64 video Bd.  The "Blink" works fine on it!  It seem
that my main box has a VESA complient video card.  I am using that box
at 1024x768 and the 'Blink' does _not_ work at that resolution (VGA =
0x317).  

So I was _wrong_ about it being a 'Bug'.  It is more of a lack of
compatability with higher resolutions.

Hope that this might help someone who might be wondering about this.
