Hi,
I am trying to set up the dhcpd.conf to talk
through my cable modem to the Road Runner service. I was advised to try
the dhcpd-beta. I just can't figure out how to set up the dhcpd.conf
file. I'm not yet sure whether or not the Linux kernel is recognizing my
Ethernet card yet. It is a PCI-based Realtek RTL8029 Adapter, IRQ 09, I/0
range 1800-18DF.
Do you have any information about how to proceed
here?

Also, I would like to
get DHCP running. I downloaded the standard DHCP package, but the
configuration fails. Has anyone done this? What is the procedure for
this?
to dhcp :
as root : execute :
ifconfig
see
/etc/resolv.conf
add this information to your next
e-mail and tell me if you
make a connection via an ethernet card or
not
