When I installed Debian I alotted about 200mb of hd space on hda5 for /usr. I've installed so much that I've started to run out of space. What I was planning to do was to move the bulky linux source packages to a temp directory somewhere under /var and use ln to create links to them. What problems is this likely to cause , if any, and is it better to put the new packages somewhere else instead. Many TIA angus claydon claydona@ms3.hinet.net
