Debian has little in the way of formal organization.  We are addressing
that right now: we are discussing a draft constitution proposed by Ian.

don't want it marketed.

Debian is free.  Anyone who wants to can package it and push it.  That
includes you.

The only "funding" we need is a few computers and bandwidth to access
them.  Donations are quite sufficient for that.

That's a pretty distorted view of the events.  Nobody is being driven off.
