The stuff in the ms-dos directory is all symbolic links to the stuff in
the other directories. The only function of the ms-dos directory is to map
the package names into the DOS 8.3 name space so that you can FTP the files
to a DOS system. Avoid using the ms-dos directory if you can use long file
names. The links are created by a script that runs every morning, and thus
they should be current.
