Antes de nada, has de instalarte el paquete linux-headers-amd64:
apt-get install linux-headers-amd64
Luego ya eso con el ejecutable del NVIDIA. Para ello, haz esto:
chmod +x NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-310.44.run
Luego, en donde quieras tener ese fichero bajado haz esto:
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-310.44.run
RECOMENDACIONES:
Te va a pedir la instalación de DKMS, que no lo recomiendo. A no ser que
te muevas por más kernels diferentes del que tienes.
Cuando termine de compilar el controlador, has de hacer lo que sigue:
nvidia-xconfig
Aunque, al instalar te lo va a pedir, si te dice no, le das a 'Yes'.
Te dará un nuevo fichero /etc/X11/xorg.conf genérico y detectado por el
propio paquete, tanto de Debian, como del genérico. Luego deberás poner
otras líneas, que si quieres, te lo muestro todo vía privado.
Yo no tengo problemas, porque me funciona a la primera. Y, además, con
muchos parámetros puestos de hace tiempo cuando tuve debian estable.
Aunque, funcionan bien, porque los directorios de las fuentes eran
distintas a Lenny. :-)
