Der Kernel den ich verwende ist der normale 2.6er Kernel, und ich
schätze, daß dieser sehr viel unnötigen Platz verbraucht.
Ich suche also einen kleineren Kernel. Ob der aus einem Backport stammt,
eine spezielle qemu-config irgendwo gewartet oder ob ich diesen komplett
selbst bauen muss, ist fast egal. Wichtig ist aber, daß ich weiterhin
den normalen update/upgrade Pfad verwenden möchte, ohne dabei zu hohen
Wartungsaufwand zu haben.
So. Ich habe jetzt einen Kernel selber gebaut. Hat gut geklappt, habe
aber ein paar kleinere Fragen. [Beim drüberschauen habe ich das Gefühl
das wird OT.]
-Kann ich nach einem Kernel Update von 2.6.18 auf 2.6.19/20 meine config
Datei weiterverwenden, oder gibt es da Kompatibilitätsprobleme?
-Das Kernelpaket wollte auf ein ext2 image kopieren, indem ich dieses
einfach mounte:
mount image.ext2 /mnt/qemu/ -t ext2 -o loop,rw
Da gab es dann aber den Fehler:
VFS: Can't find an ext2 filesystem on dev loop0 qemu
Ich schätze, das liegt daran, daß das Image eine komplette Festplatte
mit mbr und partition table ist und nicht nur file mit ext2. Letzteres
kann ich problemlos mounten.
Wie kann ich denn das Festplattenimage mounten?
-Angehängt ist eine Liste an Modulen die ich deaktiviert habe. Fällt
jemanden etwas auf, was ich hätte nicht entfernen sollen? Oder
schwieriger: ein Tip was noch problemlos weg kann?
df -h zeigt jetzt 90MB für mein etch an. Komprimiert weiss ich es noch
nicht. Sieht aber jetzt recht passabel aus.
