du hast das .deb von alsa-base?
/etc/init.d/alsa kommt bei
# dpkg --contents <alsa-base.....deb>
vor
und nach
# dpkg --install <alsa-base.....deb>
ist /etc/init.d/alsa _nicht_ da?
