I think it would be nice to be able to get rid of the stuff.  However,
is currently installed by dpkg, and the md5sum is recorded in
/var/lib/dpkg/info/cm-super.md5sums.  I don't think that it's a good
idea to change such a file - maybe it's even forbidden by policy.  I
must admit that I don't have an idea how to avoid that problem.

Compressing with bzip2 gets down its size from 57 Mbyte to 24 MByte,
that's at least some difference - but it takes a while...
