I took a look at the two packages and filed a bug
against wdiff but the dependency of maxima looks

Build-Depends: debhelper, emacsen, m4, tk8.2-dev, texinfo, tetex-extra, findutils

and I can't find the problem. (On my system, I can't build
maxima because I can't install tk8.2-dev with private reason ;-)

>From the changelog of maxima, it is maintained very well
so if its dependency is not correct it will be sufficient
to file a bug to maxima, perhaps.

Best regards, 2002.3.6
