RE: BootP problems with Netra T1 (ARP/RARP)



Hi Leith,

Thanks for your quick responde. I started to think of that one when the
coffee kicked in. I managed to find a RarpD server for Windows NT/XP from
Lew Perin (http://www.panix.com/~perin/) which will come in handy ! So I'll
give it a try and let you know how I get on.

Neil,

I would guess that "Cabletron TFTP/BootP Services" does not function as
a RARP daemon. As the informative error message stated, Openboot likes
RARP to get an IP. I am not aware of availability of a rarpd for
windows, but I'm sure google would be more than helpful.
