Re: Conflict between R 4.5 and some (mostly r-bioc 3.20) R packages
Rebecca, Charles,
Looks like we are stalling a little. r-base is still hung up on
- BioC packages r-bioc-{bioccheck,keggrest,pwalign,shortread}
- CRAN package r-cran-{ff,rlang}
Looking eg at the two CRAN packages, they are in pristine standing at CRAN
itself. The update of rlang to the most recent version seems to have
descended into an autopkg-test spiral, and it is not clear to me how we can
climb out of such a hole, other than by disabling the tests. It seems ff
needs the same to make tests pass (not sure why).
Thoughts?
Dirk
