With the unstable version of ipp-usb, please do this:

1. Disconnect the device from USB.

2. The logs for ipp-usb are in /var/log/ipp-usb/. We want the first one,
   named like SOMETHING.log.

3. As root, empty SOMETHING.log with

     >/var/log/ipp-usb/SOMETHING.log

4. Resconnect the device to USB.

5. Copy SOMETHING.log to somewhere as connect.txt and compress it with

     gzip connect.txt

6. Send connect.txt.gz here.

Cheers,

Brian.
