Hey there, Thanks for the response. It is good to know that this is not a debian specific issue. * As for my graphics card, I am using an ATI chip. This is a fairly old PowerBook G4. * Kernel Version: 2.16.18.4-powerpc I will definitely try to do a bit more research about the backlight curve issue.
